The eruptive activity of the volcano Etna started to become more and more intense, so during the night I went there to take some shots.
The more I climbed the more the mountains were hiding the main lava flow. I decided to return and capture the whole apocalyptic scene.
The apparent proximity of the figure is given by the compression of the telephoto lens.
