Behind The Lens

Location

this image taken at one of an exquisite spa in Bali-Indonesia for a photoshoot represent a spa equipment brand from Australia.

Time

in the afternoon inside of a spa room, that's why I need extra lighting to bright up the model since as we know spa don't have enough light source

Lighting

The natural face of the model it self are already intimate and at the time I'm using 3 lighting, 2 soft box each on the sides front and one umbrella with off flash in the front middle bottom of the model as you could see reflex on Her eyes.

Equipment

using a dslr camera with a simple tools, it's the model and lighting what make it pop up.. not using any tripod since the space are limited so it better handheld the camera and one assistant for lighting set up..

it's one of a job photo that I took for a brand from Australia,

Editing

not much.. just a little twitch on exposure and contract..

In my camera bag

2 camera, 3 lens (50mm, for portrait 70-200 and for wide 16-35) with 2 off flash for lighting

Feedback

For me, it's all about your photography character and the creativity within you.. no mater what tools you had.. I love photography and I did it at my first day because I love it.. day by day passing by it's getting more and more tools and more experience.. from only doing photo with a standard camera set.. I'm adding more lens, and after trial and error with couple of lens then I'm upgrade it with lighting.. started with only 1 flash.. become 2 flash with several of umbrella and afterward continuing with studio photo lighting and then now I'm doing video and a drone pilot.. :) follow my stories on my instagram rahadipurnawan
