One frosty morning driving on a back road and saw the frosty fence and wires so took several pictures at different angles to see what they turned out

Had to take this shot as soon as I saw it. It was calling me.

Taken at the Saltee Islands, Ireland

A few years back I visited San Francisco, I road across the bridge to get some photos and the fog rolled in.

Caught this fella sitting around waiting for food.

Took this at an open day with birds of prey around.

These Fungi were taken with about a 10sec shutter speed and near the end I used the flash off the camera and below it just to highlight the fungi.

Behind The Lens

Location

The Butterfly Park in Benalmadena, Malaga Spain.

Time

It was around 1.00pm in the afternoon

Lighting

Not to much except It was not the brightest day.

Equipment

Canon EOS 550D camera with a Tamron 18-270 zoom lens, hand held.

Inspiration

It was a great example of this Atatacus Atlas Moth and the way it was on the branch with its wings opened right out.

Editing

I think I just adjusted the lighting a bit just to bring the colours out as the colours were just a bit flat as the lighting in the park where it was taken was not the best.

In my camera bag

Obviously I have my camera, EOS 550D with my main lens on it. Other lenses are Canon 100mm macro, Canon 70-300mm, Canon 50mm prime lens, Canon 430EX flash, cleaning clothes and spare batteries.

Feedback

Just be patient and take your time, try and get your camera setting close to what you need before taking the shot.
