This photo was taken in the cloisters of Gloucester cathedral during a walk aroundTime
This was taken in the afternoon after the lunch time rush as I wanted to capture this area with no people present which is difficult as lots of people like to see the cloisters as they were part of the Harry Potter sets.Lighting
This was totally natural light as that’s the way I think the cathedral looks best the stones have their own natural beautyEquipment
This was taken on my Canon 400d with the 18-55 lens no other equipmentInspiration
I like the quieter unusual parts of the cathedral as they often go unseen by most visitors you can feel as though you’ve stepped back in time there.Editing
None this image is untouchedIn my camera bag
I used to carry my 400d along with an 18-55, 80-200 and 70-300 lenses now I have upgraded to a 2000d I also have uv filters with meFeedback
If you’re in a place that has lots of tourists try to go during the quieter times as it’s really hard to find that perfect shot with hundreds of people wandering around
