Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Time

The time was at sunset to get some of our lovely skies here in Saskatchewan.

Lighting

I choose to shoot two images and blend them rather than use OCF.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D600 and an 85mm 1.8 lens.

Inspiration

This is actually my son and his fiancée. They wanted some engagement shots and my son wanted something with his truck in it.

Editing

Yes, I blended the two photos to get the sunset as well as some detail in the couple.

In my camera bag

It depends on what I'm shooting, people or landscapes. Although I always have my nifty fifty. I have a D800e and a D600 with a few lenses. My favorite lenses are definitely primes.

Feedback

It needs to be shot at sunset, of course, but before it gets too dark. Otherwise you would need to use OCF.
