Great picture... This would be perfect for the new challenge called Stormy Skies.

Location
This photograph was taken in rural NSW region of southern highlands, AustraliaTime
Taken in afternoon as the storms were building.Lighting
with the sun on angle and the storm moving in i had aperture Priority set and slightly under exposed on the exposure compensation and set up camera for time lapse for lightning that never came.Equipment
Vanguard Alta Pro 253 CT, Nikon D7200, Tokina 116 DXII 11-16mmInspiration
I am a local Storm chaser with a group called Macarthur Storm chasers every day always looking out for a storm to chase in the area mostly trying to capture a perfect Lightning during day or afternoon. Weather and photography is my passion.Editing
My work flow includes using Lightroom to fix distortion, Chromatic Aberration, some shadow/highlights tweaks. I would then send them to PS do any adjustment to levels before opening up Nicks collection Colour Efex Pro 4 and some layer masking to get my ideal photo. In my camera bag
always travel with my trusty wide angle lens Tokina 116 and the Tamron 16-300, Miops trigger, couple micro fiber cloths, tissue for if camera gets wet, 2 bottles of water, led lensor 7.2 torch, 3 in 1 lens cleaner, poncho, sometimes when chasing storms carry with me a GustBuster umbrella. and vanguard tripodFeedback
Always have locations in mind with good view, foreground subject, if in Australia us Weatherzone app to help predict storms in your local area, be patient this is the 3rd of the storms that day first 2 was not that good you might feel need to go home so observe what is happening and wait. have the camera setup before hand move it as the situation changes. i usually have foreground subject in bottom 3rd of my frame with the interesting storm clouds in rest of the frame. do not hope to have the best shot on your first day, you will always have failures i'am still waiting on perfect storm for Sydney harbour i been 14times this storm season 2016-2017 still have not got my perfect shot. so keep getting out there and shoot.
