Location
This was one of my first photos when I started taking photography seriously. I took this while on a school trip to Italy and it is on the island of Capri.Time
We had just arrived on the island after crossing on the ferry, so it was in the middle of the day around 2 pm.Lighting
It had started to rain and with it brought the heavy clouds to bring darker lighting.Equipment
This photo was handheld with an OLYMPUS TG-620 and nothing else.Inspiration
As I had gotten to this one point in the town, I had turned and saw the perfect photo opportunity. I knew that I had to take the shot and it turned into one of my favourite photos I've taken from my early days of starting out in photography.Editing
No post-processing was done,In my camera bag
These days I carry my Sony NEX-F3 with an 18/55 lens, a Canon TX 35mm with a 50mm lens and an 80-200mm lens, and an Instax Mini 8. I also carry a 72-inch tripod, a few portable lights, and an Instax photo album.Feedback
The best advice I could give to recreate this photo would be to visit the island at the beginning of April and prepare for the weather to change at any time, which I was not prepared for the incoming rain. Also, just try your best and anything you set your mind to you can accomplish.
