This beautiful dragonfly was taken at our cottage in the Laurentians, Quebec, Canada. They are incredibly beautiful and complex. I've always thought them to be magical.

Did you know that dragonflies are expert fliers? They fly straight up and down and can hover like a helicopter. They only eat prey they catch while flying.
