Location

This photo was taken on the harbor side of Brant Point Lighthouse on Nantucket.

Time

This is a sunrise photo in early December.

Lighting

I like the colors of sunrise just before the sun breaks over the horizon.

Equipment

I walked out to the lighthouse from our hotel with a cup of coffee and my iPhone. I was not intending to take photos but was very excited by the light and shadows.

Inspiration

Throughout the year the lighthouse is decorated with seasonally inspired wreaths. Summer brings an American flag to honor the 4th of July. April it’s daffodils. The Christmas wreath is my favorite.

This was posted without a filter.
