Location
Using natural light down in the park where the dog is able to be himself and which gave me a chance to use the natural light to get the shine on his coat.Time
Late afternoon close to sunset stageLighting
Natural light for animals is what I normally find best especially with young puppies that love to chew a lotEquipment
I used my canon 600D, with the 55-250mm lens.Inspiration
For years my sister has loved Rottweilers and this is her very first pup and we where our playing and we could see so many people were worried about this beautiful, lazy and little dopey creature that when we had him doing all his tricks I couldn't help but take the photo of him sitting looking so happy and wanted to make the image clear about him and how sweet he really is which is why the back drop was blacked out.Editing
Yes, mainly just background changing. In my camera bag
I've never been able to afford to upgrade so last 5 years I've had my canon 600D, with the twin kit of the 55-200mm lens and 18-55mm lens. It just proves that even with dated, lower equipment you can still pull of something beautiful just gotta believe in yourself.Feedback
It takes time, effort and quiet a few shots and trials an errors in photoshop, take lots of tutorials on YouTube ect.. an just find what works best for you. With practice, time and patience anyone can capture and create an image like this. Good luck to all my fellow photographers.
