Another image from my outings at Floyd Lamb Park. Fall is just beginning and the leaves have just start to change. Here in Las Vegas fall only last a few weeks as we really only have summer and winter here. I was out teaching some photography at the park and as we were walking around I spotted this scene. Photography is all about being prepared... even for the unexpected moments like this. I had gone there that day to shot images of the peacocks, however, I ended up with some nice images of the other birds and this tree. It only last but a few minutes but I definitely made the most of my time shooting from different angles and focal lengths. The point I made was that as photographers we can create beautiful images from just about anything. That beauty is all around us and to always keep your eyes open to the unexpected.
