Breathe Life

I discovered this place a year before I took this picture. I was coming back home for a weekend to New Jersey in the fall and was thinking of places I could shoot while I’m there. I remembered these bean fields the previous season and thought theres a chance they will look the same as they did a year ago. I also knew the sun would rise in that general direction. So my first morning I woke up early and set out with my camera to shoot the sunrise. I biked most of the way into the fields. The weeds were pretty thick and I got completely soaked from the waste down with the dew that morning. It was amazing though. Perfectly quiet and fog covered the ground. You could see the clear sky. I got to the bean field and it was basically perfect. I was early, but the sun started to brighten up the sky. I feel like theres no explaining these times. It was one of those moments where you cant believe whats happening before you. Everything I could hope for in an epic shot. Even the sunrise and clouds were positioned just where I would I want them. As the clouds filled with color the fog also lit up with pink and orange. I love the straight rows of the field. Draws you right in!
