That’s an amazing photo... can you explain what is going on in the image?

Looks like they took a photo of some glacial ice probably in Iceland with a low shutter speed. Why do you need an explanation?

The beauty of the ice shimmering in the sunlight was all it tookEditing
Yes, took the RAW file and transferred to Lightroom 5 and raised shadows by 20%, decreased highlights to 35%, then cam back in with the adjustment brush to darken the shadows I wanted to stand out and then pushed clarity up by 10%, finally hit Control R to adjust the HorizonIn my camera bag
These days it's the Sony A7rii with the Canon to 16-35mm 2.8, also I keep the 70-200 2.8 Mkii and 50mm 1.4 in there for just in case but the 16-35mm is my go to Lens for nowFeedback
My advice is to just be patient, photography is not something that needs an itinerary......you should limit yourself from having a schedule or a to do list. Try to envision the shot you would like to capture and then try to deliver the results, remember you're there on natures time so whatever she dishes out make sure to capture it the best possible way, but when doing so make sure to shoot with feelings and not with what you see ;)
