One of the most incredible sights I have ever witnessed, hiking 3976m to the top of a volcano to watch another active volcano explode as we camped the night. At 3.30am we all climbed the steep and slippery slopes in the dark to the summit. Just as we reached the peak the sun rised over the horizon to begin a new day and end one of the most memorable nights of my life.

This photo is taken at the peak of Acatenango Volcano looking over the active Fuego Volcano. It is a short drive from Antigua, Guatemala to get here.
