Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was taken in Gettysburg Pennsylvania.

Time

Early fall mornning.

Lighting

It was a still early foggy morning.

Equipment

Camera Canon 5D Mark II, canon zoom lens EF24-105mm,tripod manfrotto

Inspiration

This was my third visit to Gettysburg. In the past, I had taken many photographs of the this area and none of them seemed to capture the important and tragic feeling of the place. This image gives that somber emotional feeling of the bloodiest battle of the American Civil War. The fence running through the field reminded me of the nation separated into two sides, the Union Army and the Confederate Army.

Editing

Change from color to sepia tone to give more place in time.
