I used just my D3200 and no flash as I wanted the flower to appear silhouetted through the light

Inspiration

I have seen beautiful sunsets through other weed-like plants...they made my heart sing when I saw just how beautiful they can be...I think mine is "OK"

Editing

The only post processing was done in iPhoto.

In my camera bag

I have a D3200, my first DSLR, a 300mm lens, the kit lens 18-55mm and a prime lens 55mm @ 1.8f, also my charger, numerous lens filters, remote triggers and various lens cleaners.

Feedback

Get one of your favorite flowers, weeds etc and place it in front of a setting or a rising sun or maybe even a rising moon. I'll have to try that one!
