This photo was taken at Hiwassee College baseball fieldTime
It was early afternoonLighting
The lighting was perfect for this time of day. The sun wasn’t too bright, but it also wasn’t dark and rainy. It was rather easy to work withEquipment
My camera was a Canon EOS Rebel T5i with a 3.5-4.6 75-300mm kit lens.Inspiration
The Hiwassee Tigers had just won the NCCAA Mid-East regional championship for the first time in school history, securing their first ever bid to the NCCAA World Series, which of course prompted a dog pile. It was a moment that could not be missed!Editing
The image was posted basically straight off the camera. In my camera bag
At the moment, I carry a Canon EOS rebel t7i, a 1.4 50mm prime lens, a 2.8 24mm prime lens, and a 2.8 70-200mm lens. I also carry a GoPro 4 with a tripod.Feedback
For this particular picture, I just allowed myself to be in the moment. These were my college classmates, a team I had spent that whole season in the dugout with who worked so hard to get to this moment. I was just as in the moment as they were, except I had a camera in my hand snapping pictures and making memories
