This big tiger is living in an enormous reserve created for tigers by John Varty. He calls his project Tiger Canyons. Varty's aim is to breed the Bengal tigers for release into the wild. At Tiger Canyons each cat has a territory suitable to a wild tiger. It was an honor to be able to visit with John and photograph these magnificent creatures.
