Natural ambient daylight lighting. It was probably somewhat overcast.

Equipment

Canon 50D, 18-200mm @ 145mm, f16, 1/25s, iso640

Inspiration

On our way out one frosty morning we saw this frost pattern on one of our cars (1987 Toyota Cressida). Other cars right next to it had only dull uniform frost. This pattern covered the entire paint surface of the car. Viewed image is ~ 1-1.5 inches across.

Editing

Photo was toned for exposure, contrast and sharpness is PSE9.
