Taken from the deck of cruise ship Adventure of the Seas during its Transatlantic from Southampton to San Juan. The owl was spotted roughly 300 nautical miles off the Coast of Tenerife during its migration from Norway to South Africa. I like this photo it is rare enough to see an owl in daylight, but this in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean just amazing.
