Location
I took this shot in my garage. Yes, in my garage! I’m only 18, I still go to school and I don't have a professional studio, so I try to create different locations at my house… this is also creativity!Time
I forgot the exact time of the day, but I remember it was early in the morning.Lighting
I usually shot with natural light, but for this portrait I wanted to experiment something different so I used a soft box that I created by myself just the day before the shooting…and this is the result, I can’t complain!Equipment
This picture was shot with a Nikon D90, and an 18-105 mm f3.5 lens (which is the basic kit my parents gave me some years ago).Inspiration
I usually find inspiration in everything that surrounds me, others photographers that I love, also I feel inspired by how I feel. I remember I was observing the model through the viewfinder to capture her best side when I saw the scene and I shot… so I would say that was the model herself to inspire me!Editing
I don’t really like to post process the photos I take, in fact in this case I just added a light yellow filter to create a warmer atmosphere and mysterious at the same time.In my camera bag
The only camera I have in my bag is my Nikon D90 with its 18-105mm f3.5 lens, but now I’m waiting for a 50mm f1.8 that is much better for portraits!Feedback
I'm not a professional photographer and I don't think I'm the best person to give advices but the only advice I feel like giving is that in everything you do, and especially in photography, the best thing is letting yourself be guided by passion and do everything from the bottom of your heart: this way you will be able to create something similar! I also recommend to those who are in the beginning, just like me, to experience as much as they can and to be aware of the fact that they can always do more!
