I almost fell asleep when storms passed all around us during the 4th of July weekend. I took the dog out one last time before heading to bed, and saw flashing lights behind me. I turned around to see a passing storm off in the distance. I then spent the next 90 minutes watching the storm go by (and taking a few photos). I love how isolated the storms were, in that between them we could see the stars.
