Great moonscape of the landscape with a perfect color Milk Way with detailed Dark Horse Nebula (looks like a cat smiling to me always) and the Galactic Center nice and white with a powder blue Galactic Spiral even traces of colors of gas at night!!! This is better than any desert capture!!!

Hey, I absolutely loved your shot. I mean like I couldn't even express how awe I felt. The calm moving waters just below the cosmos. I would like to ask your permission to use it as my twitter's photo.

Location
Along the Carson River about 20 miles south of Lake TahoeTime
About an hour past sunsetLighting
There was a quarter moon giving me a little light on the river, I also did some light painting.Equipment
Canon 5D mk3 iso 2000 on a tripod . I had to stand in the water to get the angle I wantedInspiration
I love shooting the Milky Way , so driving through Luther Pass I was searching For a good foreground with a southern angle. Found it as I passed over the river.postEditing
I did some in Lightroom to bring out the detail in the water. In my camera bag
Canon 5D mk 3. Canon 300f4. Sigma 15-35 f2.8. Canon 50mm f1.4 Canon 100mm f2.8Feedback
