This photo of Qutub Minar was shot in New Delhi, India. As I'm a self taught serious hobbyist I keep on learning by experimenting with my camera.Time
It was a hot and humid day, I was sweating badly, still there wasn't any loss in my enthusiasm. The photograph was shot by me on June 16, 2016, probably at 03.30 PMLighting
As it was a hot and humid day, and the sun was right overhead, it was getting hard to get a clear picture of the clouds. It was causing an overcast shadow over the minaret. I had to be bit patient for the position of the sun to get bit lower to lessen the impact of overcast shadow.Equipment
This photograph was shot by me using Nikon D 7000 camera with 18-105mm VR lens.Inspiration
I was on an excursion to Delhi with my family members. On reaching Qutub Minar, apart from the minaret, the very other thing that caught hold my attention was the overhead flying aeroplanes. The scene was reminding me of the 9/11 attacks which made me immediately wanting to capture the moment.Editing
As I always shoot in RAW hence I do bit of post processing to for the enhancement of the picture taken. In my camera bag
A Nikon D 7000 camera with 18-105mm kit lens, a flash and a tripod.Feedback
My advice to fellow photographers willing to shoot something similar is to be patient yet active enough as one might have to wait for hours or even might not get a couple of minutes to set your equipments.
