Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo when I was hiking around Alice Lake with my mentor JJ Whitley

Time

It was around 3:30pm after we had lunch at local restaurant, The Lake View Shed... Very beautiful restaurant I highly recommend it... It's up near Squamish ( Whistler Area ) so there lot's of nature around, you can spend hours with your camera.

Lighting

I was outside so I used the naturally light

Equipment

I used a Canon 70D with a 40mm Lens

Inspiration

I love the going on hikes and bringing my camera. Very peaceful time and it helps me forget about life... Very relaxing... I'm very lucky to live in BC, tons of trails to keep me busy.

Editing

I didn't do much to this photo, all I did was take the colour out and add some sharpening ( about 30 - 40 )

In my camera bag

I usually use the 70D Canon, and then i have bunch of different lens... Depends on what I am shooting that day.

Feedback

My advice would be to go explore you're neighborhood and keep your eyes open, there's always a picture.
