Location
In St Mark's Square at the Venice Carnivale.Time
Early afternoon.Lighting
Not really - it was a relatively sunny day and I used the natural light for the shot.Equipment
I used a Canon Eos 5d Mk II and a Canon 100-400mm L lens. Can't remember specifics but I think it was shot at around 200mm.Inspiration
She just looked lovely and the blue eyes complemented the mask.Editing
As far as I remember I just cropped the image to tighten the frame a bit.In my camera bag
It varies depending on what I am doing but usually it's a Canon Eos 5DsR, A Sony Alpha A7R with a 35mm Zeiss, a Canon 100mm L, a Canon 24-70mm L, a Sigma Art 35mm (my favourite lens), a zoom, an external flash, a lumiquest softbox, a ton of batteries and memory cards - and some snacks!Feedback
It wasn't a studio shot - just a lady in the street in Venice so all I can really advise is to keep your eyes peeled for a good photo op & have you camera pre-set on a decent manual setting.
