Behind The Lens

Location

I have the privilege of living at the beach and when I woke up one morning to see this its a mad grab for my canon camera

Time

This was a mid morning shot

Lighting

It's a shame that the sun was not shining on the water as we have terrific green aqua water line that turns to blue about 200m from shore

Equipment

This was shot on my 6d canon camera with 24-70 lens on program mode just incase I missed the moment

Inspiration

I love rainbows and everything to do with natural beauty

Editing

I have not got photoshop, I am an old school darkroom tech, I try to take a natural shot without any adjustments needed, the perfect shot is obtainable without processing the hell out of it, being from darkroom error I know this is possible I have seen it many times with E6 positive (slide) film. I only changed to digital due to lack of good processing labs, nothing upsets me more than a picture that has been processed wrong with no idea of colour and/or density

In my camera bag

I normally carry everything in my camera bag from wide to telephoto lens along with flash and tripod, yes a large backpack needed

Feedback

It's a process of being in the right place at the right time with your camera for any shot especially something naturally occurring like rainbows
