Had to tramp though long grass, barbed wire fence and swampy edge water to set up, no photoshop just cropped

Backdoor view, I never get bored with it, no photoshop as I try to take a good shot with just camera and lens

This is in front of my house, very privileged

I played with the curve on this one to really make the blue pop more, first attempt for me on lightroom basics

Location

This photo was shot in my backyard with my 70-300mm Canon lens, time with my two cats, he loved to do this but up until this shot I had not captured it

Not sure what time of the day, somewhere in the morning heading towards lunchtime

All natural lighting, no photoshop

Captured on my 450d Canon with 70-300mm Canon lens

Inspiration

I was spending some time with my boys (cats) outside in the backyard and had my camera in hand to take some candid shots

Editing

I don't own photoshop, I only do colour, density and cropping when required, I am an old school darkroom tech, love film but found it harder and harder to find a good lab. I prefer natural non processed photos

In my camera bag

I carry everything from camera to wide and telephoto lens along with flash and tripod, heavy backpack
