Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in the city of Mogilev, Belarus, on the banks of the Dnieper River. On the territory there is a small park adjacent to the town beach. Actually this park you can see in the photo.

Time

The picture was taken at 22:30 local time.

Lighting

The light that breaks through the trees are not natural. It lights the street lamps. Mist scattered intensely illuminated creating a surreal effect it. Everything was alive as in the picture iprakticheski no post-processing is not required.

Equipment

To make this picture, I used Minolta 5D and a lens Minolta 24mm f2.8. And of course the tripod.

Inspiration

I can not say exactly what prompted me to make this shot .... time, mood, and probably what was in front of my eyes.

Editing

Post-processing is minimal: raising the contrast, sharpness, and a small color management. Yellow made a little brighter and more saturated.

In my camera bag

When I try to imagine usually only have required - the camera (there are many different, but always with any one), and a pair of lenses. Usually one of them is wide, because it often shoot landscapes. I will not list the names of actual companies photographic technique, because I believe that the choice of specific equipment for each question subjective.

Feedback

The most important advice for those who are trying to take a picture of something like that - do not get hung up! The main thing is to be in a certain place at a certain time and come out of the situation. Maybe you'll have to make a completely different picture, but it will be much steeper than what you hoped it was originally. Remember when in your area begin autumn fogs and do not miss this time.
