Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a quarry just outside the city I live in. It was one of the first photos that I have ever worked on

Time

This photo was taken mid afternoon while my husband and I took our dog for a walk and a swim

Lighting

There was nothing special or fancy about the lighting. It was simply a bright and sunny day with the sun shining down on her front the front

Equipment

This was a shot using a Nikon D3300 using Aperture f/5.3?ISO 640?Shutter 1/1000?Focal Length 48/1

Inspiration

I always love watching my dog shake water off her herself because she always makes the funniest faces. I wanted to be able to capture a shot of her shaking face to always remember her silliness. She is such a quirky and wonderful dog

Editing

All I did with this photo was enhance the colour and contrast while also cropping it significantly

In my camera bag

I don’t keep my in my bag. My camera, lens cleaner, spare lens battery charger and USB cable for uploading my photos. I keep everything in there to make sure I know where everything is

Feedback

It took me a few tries to get the shot I wanted. I just kept my camera on “sports” mode and kept taking her swimming and taking pictures whenever she shook off the water
