Behind The Lens

Location

I am fortunate enough to live on a small farm in Mpumalanga, South Africa. I took this pic literally in my back yard.

Time

It was taken was taken at sunset if I remember correctly.

Lighting

The setting sun coloured the sky and clouds in these beautiful warm colours. Creating this dramatic look.

Equipment

I used my Sony a33 camera with, Sony 75-300 lens, Hoya UV filter attached.

Inspiration

My inspiration was the sheer beauty of my surroundings and the colours in the sky.

Editing

The brightness was adjusted on a program called Play Memories, but other than that there was not processing done.

In my camera bag

In ny camera bag I have my trusted and much loved Sony a33 camera, called Snappy Phoo, Sony 75-300 lens, Sony 18-55 lens, remote, charger and cleaning equipment.

To capture an image like this you need to be out and about, have the camera handy and ready at all times. The more you practice the better better you get.
