Behind The Lens

Location

I took this in the Kruger National Park, South Africa, while on holiday in the area.

Time

This shot was taken close to midday.

Lighting

In this shot all I had was the natural light.

Equipment

I used my Sony a33 fitted with a Sony 4.5 - 5.6 / 75-300 lens, hand held in vehicle with no flash.

Inspiration

My love of elephants. The moment was just perfect.

Editing

Just cropped it some, but other than that, no processing was done.

Sony a33 camera, 3.5 - 5.6 / 18-55 lens, 4.5 - 5.6 / 75-300 lens, Hoya UV filter, spare battery, charger, lens cleaning pen, remote

Feedback

Always be prepared, have the camera handy and ready at all times. And practice. The more you use your camera and get to know the settings, the better your chances of getting a great shot. But most important of all . . . Have fun!
