Behind The Lens

Location

This particular photo was taken at Piston and Props 2013 at sywell aerodrome, Northampton UK

Time

Photograph was taken in the afternoon about 15:15 the weather was very changeable although it was warm. one minuet blue sky next it was grey and dull.

Lighting

although sky changing all the time the light was good...

Equipment

i was using a new Canon EOS 7D, I had not taken very many pictures with this camera and was learning the various setting. the Lens was one i purchased from ebay Tamron 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 XR DI VC. settings were f6.3, 1/1000 sec, ISO - 125, Focal length 270mm, Partial Metering, Manual white balance, exposure program shutter priority..JPG format only

Inspiration

i have always enjoyed taking photo's at air shows, in fact on this particular day i had taken over 300 shots...

Editing

the only changes i have made to this photo was cropping and a small amount of sharpening...

In my camera bag

in my bag, well not much actually...canon 50mm f1.8, Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, spare fully charged battery. well thats about it.

Feedback

Perseverance, and do not expect every single one to turn out right...
