I took this photo in a horse padock in Bulawayo, ZimbabweTime
This photo was taken on March 17, 2016 on a very cold and windy day. I was shivering so badly that it took me quite a few clicks to get the perfect shot!Lighting
The lighting in this photo was quite tricky as the sun kept disappearing behind the clouds, but after a few shots from different angles, and a very active little bug, I managed to get the perfect shot!Equipment
This was shot with my Samsung Galaxy S5 with a detachable Macro lens.Inspiration
I love taking macro shots, especially of flowers and little bugs as I feel that there is so much that we miss in our day to day lives and macro photography makes you look at the finer details and the little things in life that really matter.Editing
This photo has not had any post-processing done.In my camera bag
I always have my Samsung Galaxy camera attachments, my Fujifilm SL1000 and my tripod with me.Feedback
Patience, patience, patience and more patience!!! When doing macro, especially with little moving bugs it is very important to go with the flow and work with what you have. If you get impatient the bug will fly/crawl off. The most important thing to remember is to get your focus right and take as many shots as you can even if you think you have the perfect one!
