Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Lancaster, Pa along the Conestoga River. I had this image in my mind for approximately 2 years until the conditions were right and I was in the area

Time

It was right at noon time, but the clouds and snow made for a nice soft light.

Lighting

Clouds and the white snow made for a nice soft lighting for this image.

Equipment

This was actually shot with my Nikon Coolpix point and shoot camera.

Inspiration

It was an idea that I had been kicking around in my head for about 2 years until the conditions were right and I was in the area.

Editing

The only post processing that was done was to crop the image a bit.

In my camera bag

Now my equipment is a little more sophisticated. My camera is a Nikon D3400 with two Kit lenses (18-55mm and a 70-300mm), a Sirui tripod, a gimbal head,

Feedback

It has been my experience that some of my best images come from me "seeing" them as an idea and then bringing that idea to reality.
