I took this photo in Cultus Lake British Columbia, while on a camping trip with my family. There was a small stream and waterfalls coming off the mountain across the road from our campground, this little fall was actually a small run off drain coming off the road .I just went very close and cropped out the drain and the road .Its amazing how it changes ones perspective of what it actually wasTime
The time of day was around 2 pm It was a shady area of the grounds, but made for an attractive lighting situationLighting
I had visited this area at different times of the day but the morning cast too much shadow .Equipment
Camera Canon T4i, Lens kit lens 18-55mm ,no flash , Tripod .Inspiration
I had not worked that much on the beautiful misty water effect , So I thought it would be an Ideal place to practice, I had to get into the water (luckily only ankle deep ).It was a lot of trial and error . I was alot of fun and inspiring .I live in a beautiful country and will be doing more of this type of photoEditing
I only Brought Exposure up a tiny bit , and cropped it downIn my camera bag
I am a Canon Girl , I have a Canon T4i ...I won a T5i ,I have 18-55 mm lenses , 55-250mm, 150-600 mm (won)...I have flashes, filters of various sorts, tripods, mono pod, cleaners, and always a variety of sized plastic bags (I live In BC Canada sudden rain is always expected)Feedback
Don't always look for the grandest situation sometimes beauty is in the places you least expect it , Like a water drain off on the side of a road.
