I love this photo. Great work of art on both the photographer and the model.

Work of art. How ever what she is holds in her hands doesn’t seem to fit the picture

Location
I shot this photo in my home studioTime
It was in the evening. It was in studio and I shoot blackout.Lighting
I am very deliberate in my lighting. If you are not as a studio photographer it will sink you. I work with gel filters alot and am known for my colorful creative portraiture. This picture was taken with a 3 light set up. Octotabox as the main light and a backlight with a reflector directly below the model.Equipment
I shot this image with a 5d mark iii and 2 bowens 500 monolight kit. I used a kupo stand and shot this image with a prime lens. I use a cooking pot as a stand for my backlight I also used a fog machine.Inspiration
I have shot that headress a dozen times and this was the 1st time i had worked with that model. I wanted something with a different feel. I asked her to blow the feathers and look up at the camera.Editing
The post was done with minimal photoshop. The feathers were not adjusted. In my camera bag
5d mark iii, sigma 35, 50 And 85 with 2 speedlights if i go out. In studio I use the system I explained earlier.Feedback
Timing is crucial. Do the count when photographing.
