Behind The Lens

Location

Koh Khai island (off the coast of Phuket - Thailand)

Time

around 2pm

Lighting

subject was in open shadow underneath the jetty so I used couple of speed lights inside an octa to enhance the whole mood

Equipment

Canon 5DMkIII, 24-105mm speed lights in octa, trigger and receiver

Inspiration

we were having a day out on this tiny small island with some beauty pageant participants and once the tide receded, I decided to take advantage of this location

Editing

usual workflow in LR (contrast, sharpness, highlights...), minor skin retouch and blemishes removal in PS

In my camera bag

Canon 5DMkIII, 24-105mm, 40mm, 50mm, 70-200mm, trigger, receivers, strobes, modifiers (softbox, umbrella, octa...), ND filters
