Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Poland, city called Skawina. That's park located into the center of Skawina. Very nice place for the family walk.

Time

It was early morning. This area is well known from the mists in the spring, summer and autumn periods. That's why this place is special for the photography enthusiasts.

Lighting

As mentioned above this area is well known from the mists in the spring, summer and autumn periods. That's why this place is special for the photography enthusiasts. Specially mornings are pretty interesting becuase lights is trying to cross mist and people are walking aroung time to time.

Equipment

I did use my old fellow means NIKON D90 and Sigma 17-70. No tripod or any other special tools were used in that case.

Inspiration

I was just walking around and looking for the nice angle for the shot. Trees make special view in that case. In addition to this mist and people walking behind them did special moment. Nice combination of the mist, nature and people gave really interesting results. Symbiosis of time, seasons, environment, places and people.

Editing

In that particular shot I just enhanced colors, sharpness and saturation. Adaptation of the vignette was done to forced potential recipient to look directly on the walking pair, than to the tress.

In my camera bag

Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D90 + Sigma 17-70. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.

Feedback

Wake up early morning, look for the special places around your neighborhood. Presumably you are missing very nice places looking on the photos taken by the others. Try to make as many shots as possible in very short time. Think about the shot before. What crop, position your are going to use. That will make your life easier. Do not give up, never. If not this time maybe next. Do not lose the opportunity. Sometimes there will be no second time. That's not equipment is making you photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others.
