Location

i took this photo in my bathroom as it is the darkest room in the house.

Time

It was after dark around 8pm

Lighting

the room was absolutely dark and i had set up my camera on a tripod. I focused on the flowers before turning off the light. I then set my shutter to 30 secs and while the shutter was open i painted the flowers with a small torch.

Equipment

NIkon D3200. Vanguard tripod. Small torch.

Inspiration

I had seen this done by a friend.

Editing

i added the light ray with Paint pro.

In my camera bag

Normal amateur stuff. My favorite lens is my Nikon 70-200.

Feedback

Make sure the room is absolutely dark and set your focus to manual after focusing on the subject.
