Behind The Lens

Location

I took this on the beach at Cleveleys whilst visiting my family one weekend earlier in the year. I walked right along the beach to Little Bispham from here.

Time

This was taken in the afternoon and just as the tide had begun to turn and come back in.

Lighting

It was such a clear day, perfect conditions for taking pictures of the sandy horizon.

Equipment

Camera only

Inspiration

I loved the contrast of the huge metal structure against the backdrop of sand and sea that I played in and on as a child. This sculpture wasn't there then but i feel like it belongs and now it's as if it was always there, and was meant to be.

Editing

I just adjusted the sharpness of the image .

In my camera bag

Just my iPhone camera.

Feedback

Try to look at things in a different way from the obvious. Sometimes the angle of your view makes all the difference, for example crouch down, lean or try and get to an unusual angle .
