Behind The Lens
Location
In my basement, Camera is sat on a sheeet of black plexiglass on a table. A piece of black velvet is about 2 to 3 feet behind the camera so no spill over from the flash reaches it.Time
evening time, between 5 and 6pmLighting
Lighting was fairly simple, pieces of foam board were taped together to create two V flats on either side of the subject, another piece of foam board was used to cover the top. I used two Vivitar 285HV bounced into the V flats, to prevent the edges blowing out, I hung a piece of black card behind each flash as a gobo between the flash and subject.Equipment
Canon 5D, 28 to 105mm set on a tripod. Two Vivitar 285HV flash triggered with pocket wizardInspiration

keep the background sufficiently far from the subject to prevent light spill on the background. Foam board can be used to create V flats, flash can be bounced into the V to get a softer wrap round light. Use black card to block the flash and prevent getting areas blown out.
