Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while on a sunset cruise with my husband, on beautiful Lake Erie.

Time

It was taken at sunset, around 8:30 in the evening.

Lighting

It was that wonderful time of day, when the natural sunlight was all that was needed to capture this perfect moment in time.

Equipment

This photo was taken with my Samsung Galaxy s7.

Inspiration

I loved the way the sailboat passed in front of the sunset at the perfect moment.

Editing

I did a little postprocessing, by using an HD effect, as well as a glass effect, that makes it appear as if the sailboat is in the glass.

In my camera bag

I do most of my photography with my Samsung phone.

Feedback

The best advice I can give anyone, to capture something like my sailboat photo, is to always be looking for that perfect shot. And shoot as many shots as it takes until you get the perfect shot you're looking for.
