Location
It was taken at West Mersea in good old EssexTime
It was taken about 14.00 hrs I had skived a few hours off of work and knew that there was some fantastic beach huts in Mersea so I headed down there. Unfortunately this was at the start of my photography hobby and I can see quite a few faults in it.Lighting
The sun was out and the sky was blue. Perfect for the pastel colours of the beach huts.Equipment
I used a Sony a6000 with the 35-70 kit lens.Inspiration
I had seen some images similar on a local company calendar and knew I could do as good a image or better.Editing
I did darken the image slightly and a bit of hue and saturation. I did not know how to use photoshop to much then.In my camera bag
I have now changed to a Sony A7R II, I have a 70-300 zoom lens a 90 mm Macro lens as I love macro photography, it's like being in a different world I also have a 24-70 mm lens. A few filters, a couple of tripods and a nissin flash.Feedback
Take lots of shots from different angles and look at them when you get home. I did not take enough shots and have captured much better ones since.
