Very moody , this image. You've treated the leaves to a lovely colour and made the image into something with mystique and wonder. The little dog (Gizmo) serves you well. I would have liked a smidgen lighter catch-light in his eye, but the story-telling is king in the end. Great work!

Location
I took the shoot just outside our house, as there are some new buildings coming, these massive bushes were digged out. It was a perfect location for a portrait, but I only had my dog with me so i pushed him in bushes and asked for a pose =)Time
Just around lunch time as we were coming back from Gizmos daily walk.Lighting
There is only natural light. Muddy weather which made perfect, even fall of light everywhere.Equipment
For this shot I used only my Canon 70D with 50mm, F1.8@2.8Inspiration
I have always been inspired in surrealistic nature in photographs, I love unnatural colors with familiar objects, so I started playing with my own shots.Editing
Yes! This time instead doing everything i photoshop, I instead created two camera profiles on original picture and its copy in LR, then I imported it in PS and worked with masks and som curves to get final touches. Color wheel was big help here as well.In my camera bag
Got my Canon 70D, Tamron 70-200mm, Zenitar 50mm F1.7 and jupiter 135mm F3.5(with adapters). Speedlite, trigger, intrevalomiter and some nd and cpl filters.Feedback
Playing and understanding colorwheel, in my opinion one of the most important things. Color is everything =)
