Location
This photo was taken while camping at Shackelford Banks, NC. It is so secluded and no light, nothing except water and wild horses!Time
One of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in a long time. It was around 8pm and we just got started on our fire while camping. We had the whole island to ourselves, other than the wild horses of course. We just sat there and couldn't believe how breathtaking it was.Lighting
I didn't use any lighting on this picture. Only the light from the sunset which is beautiful.Equipment
So, for this shot, I used my Canon Rebel. Now lighting, flashes or anything. Spur of the moment shot!Inspiration
Since it was a girls weekend, and one of my best friends is a worldly known photographer, of course I brought my camera. She loves this picture just as much as we all do. I wanted to take this shot because I will probably never see anything like it for a while.Editing
Most of my images don't have any editing. I didn't edit this one either. I love taking pure and natural pictures the best I can without image processing if possible. In my camera bag
I don't have much in my bag. I have around 4 batteries for camera, batteries for flash, my Canon lenses, uv lens and my cleaning clothes.Feedback
Not many people camp out at Shackleton Banks because there are no resources. When I sayour no resources, no water, sewage, trash or light. When we set up our campsite, we were the only ones on the island. When high tide came up, we had roughly 10 feet all around us that was sand, the rest was the ocean. It was breathtaking and beautiful.
