Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken of my puppy in my house.

Time

The photograph was taken in the middle of day, when my puppy has her nap. I remember this day because she fell asleep holding her toy "Piglet" and the positioning was pretty great for the camera.

Lighting

Honestly this was an in the moment shot. I didn't think about the lighting except the natural light!

Equipment

This shot was taken with a NIKON D3200 at F-stop f/3.8, and exposure 1/50 sec. There was no flash or equipment necessary.

Inspiration

My inspiration for this shot is the beautiful subject matter, my adorable puppy. As I mentioned it was shot in the moment. I hope it shows her amazing character! Big dogs have a stigma for being dangerous but this is stereotypical and no dogs are the same. She is so gentle.

Editing

In this particular case I did no editing; it was raw and show emotion.

In my camera bag

My main items include the NIKON D3200, and two lenses. I bring a 18-55mm and 55-300mm lens with me most places. These are the items I bought at the beginning and I haven't made many changes to my kit since. These are ultimately the things I will always try and carry!

Feedback

I think just enjoy your photography and let the shot show your emotion! Feeling in photography just make a picture.
