While traveling to do photography in had the opportunity to shoot this eagle. What a majestic bird.

This was taken at night in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The bridge is the Market Street Bridge.

This shot was taken in Yellowstone National Park. What an amazing place.

This was a very early morning capture. And there were loads of photographers already lined up ready to take pictures when the sun started shining on

What a gorgeous day this was. A great way to store the memories is to capture them.

I actually live on the Tennessee River and this is a shot from Downtown Chattanooga late afternoon.

This was taken in August when I was visiting Kruger National Park in South Africa. I fell in love with the people and the place.

How can anyone not enjoy seeing back into the past that this cabin represents? I hope you enjoy it like I did.

Behind The Lens

Location

Yellowstone National Park at the Grand Prismatic.

Time

This was taken early one morning in May. I let the sun get up so I could get the star burst effective.

Lighting

I have to tell you I let the smoke from the geyser be my cloud so I could get the sun peeking through it.

Equipment

There are walkways all around the water and I laid on my stomach on the walk way so I could get the area I want and used a fish eye lens to get the effect I was after.

Inspiration

I am a color freak and there is so much color at the Grand Prismatic I wanted to spend a lot of time getting shots before it got busy with people.

Editing

There was some post processing, but not much.

In my camera bag

When you are out in the field I try and take a wide angle lens, a telephone lens and normally a good all around lens is the 70/200.

Feedback

Find a place that you love and get there early morning or late afternoon. The sun in the clouds can give you some wonderful opportunities to get unusual shots.
