Location
I took this picture in Oslo, as this building have allways fascinated me!Time
I think it was a mid-day. I was just looking for a cloudy day, as the plan was to make a black and white picture, and it would make the picture better.Lighting
Natural Light. Cloudy day.Equipment
I did the picture with Canon 60d and Sigma 10-20 f3.5 lens. Of course on tripod, as I did a bracketing shot of 3 exposures.Inspiration
The building itself was the biggest inspiration, when I first saw it, it really fascinated me a lot, so I knew I had to photograph it. And I decided for a wide angle, to make it as unique as possible.Editing
Yes I did. I made an HDR in Photomatix Pro, and then quick black and white retouching in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Nowadays I work with a photography full time, so most of a time I have my camera Canon 5d Mk3, Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II, Canon 16-35 f2.8 II, Sigma 50mm f1.4 and Teleconverter 2x.Feedback
Sometimes it is worth experimenting a bit, and geting closer to the subject with wide angle lens. In fact it may show the subject in completely diffrent and unique way. Also getting lower with Your camera and shooting upwards can also give You something extra. Never be affraid to experiment! That´s how You learn best, and that´s how You can make something unique that maybe nobody did before.
