I agree. I would like to live there myself. This cabin is on a Nature Preserve. It's open to the public for viewing.

Thank You. It snowed heavy the night before and the trees were covered. So that morning I took my camera and walked through the nature preserve and took this picture of the Log cabin.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a Nature Preserve close to my Home in Schaumburg Illinois.

Time

It snowed heavy the night before and the trees were covered. So that morning I took my camera and walked through the Nature Preserve and took this picture of the Log Cabin. It was around Christmas time so in the photo you can see that they decorated the chimney with a Christmas wreath.

Lighting

It was early morning. The snow storm had just stopped a few hours before so it was still over cast with snow clouds

Equipment

Nikon s710 hand held with no flash.

Inspiration

What inspired me was how all the snow stuck to trees. It was so quit and beautiful in the Nature Preserve. As I walked further into the Preserve, I saw the Log Cabin. I just had to take a photo of it. I am so glad I did. I am happy with the way it turned out.

Editing

I used Photomatix Pro 5.1 and Photoshop softwear to get the effect that I wanted.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my camera with me but when I go out to on one of my photo journeys, I will take my tripod with me.

Feedback

I don't know what to tell anybody but look for a shot that you think is awesome. I love Photgraphy so I am always looking for something that would make a beautiful or unusual photo. Keep your camera with as much as you can because you never know when you will come across that one awesome picture.
